While to choose or not to choose
Yoga for physical and mental fitness and
well-being can be a matter of personal choice. Some people might just feel much
better doing cardio, outdoor sports, gym anything that suits.
But bringing in the religious angle to decide for or against Yoga is ridiculous. The recent debate on whether the Sun is of a Particular religion and Moon is of the other is just so outrageous.
How can one choose between the
Sun & the Moon. How can one live on earth and not admire sun for its light,
energy, warmth, for the new day it brings, those first rays that disperse in
the sky, across the mountains, over the waters, that color and shades of the morning
sky as day slowly breaks from the darkness of night. And the ever welcoming, reassuring
and comforting companion of our nights- The Moon. How can one resist
appreciating the Poise and beauty of a moonlit night? The calmness that it
brings after the day’s hustle-bustle.
Is the human kind going to be so
dumb to be fooled by these self-proclaimed akas and brokers of religion to see
the universe, colors, and atmospheres from the shades of religion decided by
the sorts?
So whatever religion one follows
and for whatever reason clings on even to the irrationalities associated with
it due to deliberate misinterpretation of the ancient text, atleast have brains
to think that the religion cannot be bigger than the cosmos. You cannot ever
see a bigger miracle than the Sunrise and Moonshine, the perfect balance and
magnificence of the interstellar space.
Wish if only we could break free from this religious trap and take
cognizance of the obvious.
