Mood of the nation -The nation is angry

 People are annoyed, very annoyed.

They are annoyed because they know the country, their beloved motherland is not in the state it should have been by now, after 70 years of independence, it hasn’t attained or regained the glory, it once possessed.

There is anger and disappointment, and there is an urge to vent it out, to be relayed to the ones who were trusted with the task of reforming the country. It is this anger that channelized in votes during 2014 LS Elections to banish the ruling government.

But what has happened after elections, after the new government that has been duly elected by the people. Has the prevalent anger settled down, in hope of good times that would come with the change in government? In My opinion it hasn’t.  Instead it has intensified. But the catch here is this time this rage is not against the ruling government.

The fury has not only intensified but it has also manifested in form of hatred. It is a common thing to talk to people and especially if one is BJP supporter and find out how resentful they are with everything in the country expect for the ruling party.

• ·        They are angry with Kanhaiya Kumar  as he shares his difference of opinion  and asks questions to the  Govt
• ·         They  are angry with  Students demand justice for Rohit Vemula
• ·         They are angry with  Kejriwal giving 1cr to the Soldier who died demanding OROP
• ·         They  are angry with Authors who chose a way of protest by returning their awards to government for not being able to control communal hatred and riots in certain areas
• ·         They  are angry with because authors did not return awards when riots happened in other areas.
• ·      They are angry with common people who are speaking about the inconvenience caused due to demonetization and questioning the purpose of the whole exercise
• ·     They are angry with people with secular and liberal beliefs
• ·         They are angry with Pakistan..!!!

As per them All the above are anti-nationals types, they are made to believe these are the people that  don’t want nation to prosper and are the reason for majority of problems in India

And the things that they are not angry about:

• ·         IT cell member of BJP is has links with ISI agents, spying  on Army , sharing national secrets –no one tells them our soldiers are dying …etc etc
• ·         BJP MLAs are involved in sex racket in Gujrat and charged with gangrape of a woman
• ·         Govt has allocated 3600 cr for a statue.. while we have major basic necessity problems to be solved
• ·         Our Army base camps have been attacked couple of times in an year – no one questions , Infact as per reports recent train accident was supposedly caused by the terrorists
• ·         Petrol Prices are higher than ever now , Rupee is continuing the downslide – these two used to be major issues earlier ..
• ·         Dadri and Muzaffarnagar incident were articulated, infact BJP close aides were involved - there is no outrage to this revelation
• ·         Some high profile bank defaulters are easily able to get away – Doesn’t incite anger or nationalistic outrage
• ·         Farmer Suicides continue as ever  - No wrath
• ·         Gangster Murderer  are given ticket from major parties for UP election- No one is offended
• ·         Amit Shah gets back to Communal incitation during his rallies in UP - Doesn’t seem anti national
• ·         The Diaries of major business houses revealing hefty payments made to political parties

 All these do not incite ire.

I wonder why.  I do not accept that people do not understand what the real issues are.

The reason I think is -- Because People are not angry as such, they are methodically made to get angry, efforts are put in to let the hatred settle in for each other; to let the people remain divided and busy quarrelling among themselves.  The ubiquitous propaganda machinery is meticulously capturing our imaginations and feeding into the minds and conscious of the people, through fabricated and misleading information thanks to far outreach of fb and WhatsApp

All the hatred and anger this time is channelised to be used against each other so that none of it gets to the ruling government. The anger is very precisely and successfully diverted to anyone having difference of opinion with the government. Precedent is set from the top the most voices.
